The service and food exceeded my expectations. John the server was attentive and took initiative checking in periodically. I have a host of food sensitivities and the chef, Loyiso came to my table to make sure that he understood everything that I was allergic too and then came back to check to see if I was having a good experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better Monday lunch with my husband. Highly recommend. The only reason I didn’t give the atmosphere 5 stars because music is huge to me and instrumentals feel more calming and inclusive. That’s me being a music snob. ☺️

I had really high hopes for this restaurant, and things started off strong. The garlic fries were absolutely amazing and a generous sharing size! Unfortunately, once our entrees arrived, we were incredibly disappointed. The burger was just okay, and the regular fries didn’t come close to the quality of the garlic fries. The biggest letdown was the meatloaf, which was completely charred on the outside and very dry throughout. It was difficult to enjoy. We love Studio Park and visit downtown several times a week thanks to our VIP subscription, so we were especially excited to try this spot. The atmosphere is great, and the location is hard to beat. I just wish the entrees were better.

Dinner at One Twenty Three Tavern exceeded my expectations. The calamari was crispy and flavorful, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the fries were hot and fresh. The seafood was also excellent, tasting fresh and well-seasoned. Great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a place I’d gladly visit again.

Was on a business trip and was hungry. I try to eat at non chains when I am traveling to discover local flair. Found One Twenty Three Tavern, was a little confusing until I realised that was the literal address. Walked in was seated quickly and that’s when the Magic happened. Peter was friendly, professional, and I enjoy when someone looks like that actually enjoy their job. I got the smashburger and the Apple Sharlotka with Homemade Cinnamon Ice Cream with Cranberry Orange Coulis! I would drive 3 hours everyday just to eat the Sharlotka! Great advice Peter! Limited lunch menu but everything I ate was amazing! The garlic fries with the Spicy Ranch was amazing! However the Spocy Ranch has a kick that I didn’t expect but definitely enjoyed, just warning you. Thank you One Twenty Three Tavern and especially Peter for the food recommendations and the above expectations customer service. I’ll def be back!

My wife and I tried One Twenty Three Tavern on a Saturday night, our experience was fine. If we had friends ask us for a recommendation, I probably would list other restaurants to check out as this was average; mainly because of the poor service. Food: We had hanger steak and salmon, tasted okay but the steak definitely needed some additional seasoning; my wife said the salmon tasted good. Service: The service has not very good, our waitress took a while between checking on us to the point where she apologized for not coming over to our table sooner. She was not engaging and was all business. I would have asked for some salt and pepper had she come back to check on us after our food was delivered. Atmosphere: Nice inside and a cozy environment.
